Premier Fitness Class Descriptions:

Camp Core –  A 60 minute class that is designed to build core muscle groups while improving posture and mobility. Each class incorporates techniques from a wide variety of exercise philosophies, such as Yoga, Hybrid Strength, Kettlebell and Pilates. Senior Strength – A 60 minute class designed to increase strength, mobility and energy, while maintaining a safe workout environment. ***Arthritis Aqua – A 60 minute, 8-week class that is designed to be a safe and effective way for people with arthritis to stay fit. Group Fitness Class Descriptions:

Zumba – A 60 minute minute class that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves. Your instructor will take the “work” out of workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. The Group Fitness classes in Cicero and North Syracuse also feature a combination of interval training and resistance training that will tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Yoga – A 60 minute class that introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures linked together by the breath. Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration. Gentle Yoga – A 60 minute class which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation techniques (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. 360 Fit – A 60 minute multi-dimensional total body sculpting and cardio interval class designed to challenge the entire body. Total Sculpt – A 45-60 minute class that combines cardio with strength training using various tools such as weights, bands and body weight for an optimal fat burning workout. Boot Camp – A 60 minute class that includes a combination of strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core and functional movement patterns designed to work the entire body. Intervelocity & Bag – A 60 minute high energy and high impact class with modifications for those who want a lower impact workout.  This class will include bag work. *Gloves required. Insanity & Bag – A 60 minute class filled with cardiovascular intervals combining a series of boot camp exercises and bag work. This high energy, cardio-based program conditions the whole body. *Gloves required. HIIT challenge – A 60 minute class that combines boot camp exercises and intense bursts of cardiovascular intervals, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods and bag work.  *Gloves required. Cardio Kickboxing – A 60 minute class  that combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio intervals. Challenging the beginner and elite athlete, this high-energy workout will build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, burn calories and build lean muscle. *Gloves required. Spin Camp – A 60 minute cardio class designed to provide you with the optimum in fat burning and strength building.  Your instructor will guide you through a ride that will simulate varied terrain as you tackle rolling hills, sprints and other drills to give you a great interval workout on the spin bikes. Barre – A 60 minute class that mixes elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, all choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. Cardio & Barre – A 60 minute class that is a unique, high energy/no impact exercise class that combines barre work and lightweights with a continual fat burning motion. Central to the workout are toning and resistance exercises for the butt, legs, torso and arms to sculpt muscles and elongate the appearance of your body. Pilates – A 60 minute class that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.

Pool Class Descriptions:

H20 Circuit – A 60 minute water class that will get your mind and body moving. Each class incorporates a variety of strength, cardio and multi-joint movements in the water utilizing circuit training principles. Basic Aqua – A 60 minute class that has been designed to provide individuals with Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and many other physical limitations the opportunity to experience a safe yet challenging exercise experience. Cardio Splash – A 60 minute action packed class that combines aerobic and muscle conditioning with the benefits of water resistance. Aqua Zumba – A 60 minute class that integrates the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines. These disciplines are blended together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning and most of all, exhilarating.
