Group Fitness Schedule
Champions offers a wide variety of Group Fitness Classes from the traditional classes like yoga and cycle, to specialty classes such as Senior Strength, Arthritic Aqua, and Kickboxing, as well as non-traditional classes that don’t even look like a workout – like Zumba and Aqua Zumba.
With so many different class times throughout the day, you can always find a group that motivates and inspires you to push yourself and have a great time doing it. Our Group Fitness classes are led by nationally certified instructors who are fun, friendly, and always ready to share tips and offer encouragement. Click below to see the current Class Schedule.
Premier Fitness Class Descriptions:
Camp Core – These unique 1 hour classes are for everyone. Increase mobility, feel livelier with more energy, and enhance your knowledge while getting into the best shape of your life, both physically and mentally. Our core classes will incorporate techniques from a wide variety of exercise philosophies, such as Yoga, Hybrid Strength, Kettle bell, and Pilates.
Senior Strength – Program of exercises meant to challenge all your muscle groups and postural muscles while maintaining a safe workout environment. Our goal is to increase strength, while decreasing the risk of injury.
***Arthritis Aqua – One-hour classes meet for eight weeks, one or two times per week and are designed to be a fun, safe way for people with arthritis to exercise and stay fit. This is a private class offered to members and non-members. Add-on option available at the front desk.
Group Fitness Class Descriptions:
Zumba – The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.
Yoga – The practice of yoga is much more than a system of physical exercise for health. Yoga is an ancient path to spiritual growth combined with a series of movements. There are a variety of different styles and traditions of yoga blended into our class structure.
360 Fit – A multi-dimensional total body sculpting and cardio interval class.
Total Sculpt – A 45-60 minute strength training class challenging your entire body from head to toe.
Boot Camp – A 60 minute class of cardio circuits for the entire body geared to keep your heart rate up to burn calories and tone muscle. Core exercises will be mixed throughout the cardio circuits to tighten the stomach!
Intervelocity & Bag – A 60 minute class of cardiovascular intervals that will challenge you and help boost your metabolism. This class will include bag work. *Gloves required.
Interval Challenge – A 60 minute class including boot camp exercises, intervals, and bag work. *Gloves required.
Cardio Kickboxing – A 60 minute class combining aerobics, kickboxing, and bag work. *Gloves required.
Spin Camp – A 45-60 minute cardio class on the spin bikes. An instructor will guide you through a ride of sprints, jumps, and hills!
Pool Class Descriptions:
H20 Circuit – This one hour action packed water class will get your mind and body moving. Class will consist of a variety of combinations involving strength, cardio and multi-joint movements in the water utilizing circuit training principals.
Basic Aqua – This one hour class has been designed to provide individuals with Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and many other physical limitations the opportunity to experience “safe” yet challenging exercise.
Cardio Splash – An hour of aerobic and muscle conditioning with the benefits of water resistance. A fun class that takes the stress off your joints.
Aqua ZUMBA – Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. Come check out all the fun!
