Hello, my name is AJ Cordone. I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science/Health wellness and fitness management from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts.
What led me to where I am today? Growing up, I always had a passion and huge desire to help others in any way possible.
As an athlete, I have played football, basketball and baseball from age 5 until my senior year of high school. I also played collegiate football for the Bridgewater State Bears.
In January 2014, I weighed 262 lbs. and noticed a sudden and definite need for change and improvement in my overall health. Being educated on how to do so in an all-natural, lifestyle based change, I went from 262 lbs. to 230 lbs. in a year in a half; and lost another 10 more pounds in the following year while maintaining a healthy 220 lbs. since. Personally, I believe having experienced this myself provides a deeper understanding of what it feels like for someone to be unhappy with their body image and nutritional approach. It also gave me the personal experience of having the goal to lose weight and knowing how to follow through to properly reach that goal. Most importantly, I learned how to maintain the same positive approach toward a healthy lifestyle in longevity for the rest of my life.
I also have Physical Therapy Aide background and experience which provides numerous yet beneficial approaches to emphasize functionality in different ways for all.
My experience and background as well as my endless passion to help others provides the knowledge and tools to help assist success. Based on this, I am able to assist improvement in each area of exercise, while having a very salubrious approach toward nutrition and overall health.
